The visit to the underground Naples begins in Piazza Trieste and Trento, outside the Grabrinus bar, the historic and renowned restaurant in the city.
The meeting point of Piazza Trieste e Trento is in the center of the city, in front of Palazzo Reale and adjacent to Piazza del Plebiscito. A few meters away are the San Carlo Theater, Galleria Umberto I and the most famous Neapolitan shopping streets: via Chiaia, via Toledo and via Calabritto.
How to reach
Trieste e Trento square:
- from piazza Garibaldi (Central Station):
take R2 line bus and get off in Trieste e Trento square or you can take line 1 of underground and take off to Toledo station;
- from Toledo tube station:
you can walk to Trieste e Trento square and reach it in a few minutes;
- from Molo Beverello (piazza Municipio):
you can walk to Trieste e Trento square and reach it in a few minutes, passing through piazza Municipio and via Vittorio Emanuele III;
- from funicolare Centrale (piazzetta Augusteo):
you can walk to Trieste e Trento square and reach it in one minute.
